Favorite Finds from Forever21...yum

So I have been drifting back into forever 21 pieces because well they are affordable and it is always stylish but not so much.

Anyways, I took my first walk into a forever 21 in a few months and actually liked what I saw, quite a few pieces really stood out to me. They are good for autumn and possibly could be carried over to winter with the proper warm body accessories hence the warmers.

I really love these though:

This dress is very romantic of a victorian feel and yet very airy and free. I could definitely see these with a lovely pair of grey or black cigarette skinny pants with ankle boots. A fitted blazer could go with it.

Hmm, oxfords are all good. I especially love the ones that was in a recent target collaboration, i forgot the designer! Bad Kaye but anyway, oxfords can go with almost anything. I just love a pair of oxfords with a nice black skinny pants with a striped "Cosby" styke sweater. :)

I love these shoes. I have the ones by isotoner. They are a bit vintage I suppose. a 2.78 heel on them is not bad and is very comfortable. I love to wear them with my military style jacket and gap skinny jeans. Yeah, I truly see that skinny jeans are good on me along with straight style, but wide leg does not work.

These resemble the Miu Miu shoes but I always find either version to be very cute and flirty. Could be that one item that could pop a color into a universal color outfit or just any outfit that may be devoid of color or awesomeness.

A lovely fall appropriate bag, it is stylish yet classic. It reminds me of the PS1 bag, which I believe I have, :O, is it real not sure. Bought it from a small store in Bklyn. :) I think its real. Tags and all.

It is a wonderful must have jacket for fall because you need a wonderful jacket. I love the double brested style and it reminds me of Burberry's fabulous coats! Love it!

I love the sweater, the earth tone color, the bows, and the bit of seethrough on the shoulder bone. Reminds me of Louis Vuitton Fall 2010. The resemblance is uncanny, all thats needed is a flouncy 20s skirt with a Marc Jacob genius bow kitten heel shoes.

All in all, fall is fall...

Mariah Carey biography.Mariah Carey pic.Mariah Carey image.

 Mariah Carey

Biography
Born: Mar 27, 1970
Occupation: Actor
Active: '90s-2000s
Major Genres: Music, Comedy
Career Highlights: Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' By Sapphire, Wisegirls, Tennessee
First Major Screen Credit: Saturday Night Live: Patrick Swayze (1990)A songstress possessing a remarkable eight-octave vocal range who in the early '90s excelled to become one of the top female vocalists of the decade, Mariah Carey's rocky transition from musician to actress played a key role in fueling a much-publicized nervous breakdown in late 2001. And though her cinematic debut in Glitter (2001) may have not been quite the crossover success the aspiring actress had hoped for, as a remarkably talented vocalist Carey continues to maintain her supportive fan base as a result of her dynamic voice and exceptional songwriting abilities. Born the daughter of a former opera singer and vocal coach in Long Island, NY, in 1970, and named after the song "They Call the Wind Mariah" from the popular Lerner and Loewe musical Paint Your Wagon (1969), Carey began singing at the age of four, and writing her own songs by the time she was attending Oldfield Middle School. Moving to New York to pursue a career as a vocalist a day after her graduation from Greenlawn's Harborfields High School, the ambitious singer soon teamed with keyboardist Ben Margulies and landed a job as a backup singer for Brenda K. Starr. Aided by Starr in ensuring her demo tape found its way into the hands of Columbia Records head Tommy Matola (the man whom Carey would later wed and eventually divorce) at a party, Carey was soon signed to the label and with the release of her massively successful eponymous debut in 1990, achieved overnight success. With strong follow-up efforts establishing Carey as one of the premier vocalists of the decade (she had a number one single each year of the 1990s, her songs spending more time at the Billboard top spot than any recording artist in history) it was only a matter of time before the established singer attempted to expand her career. Suffering a physical and emotional breakdown months before the release of her big-screen debut in Glitter, Carey's "lambs" (her slang term for her loyal fans) rallied to her side in support upon the release of numerous scathing reviews. Inspired by such musical dramas as Fame (1980) and Purple Rain (1984), the semi-autobiographical retro tale of a young singer rising to fame despite the odds stacked against her was dismissed as cliché and laughably bad, with reviews specifically targeting the vulnerable singer's sub-par performance and the films unintentionally campy tone. Public appearances in which her behavior grew increasingly bizarre coupled with distressing messages on her website and fan phone line underscored the onetime pop diva's increasing mental collapse, making her admission into a Connecticut mental hospital seem almost inevitable to all who bore witness to her multiple public meltdowns. Following the failure of the accompanying album of the same name, Virgin Records bought out her 100-million-dollar contract for a mere 28 million dollars, and it appeared as if the one-time megastar had reached her nadir. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Old Photo from Fashion Week --Lela Rose on a Sunday

This photo is a very special photo as it was when I met Linda Fargo of Bergdorf Goodman.
(sorry about the resolution, taken from my camera phone, since my nikon was dead) She was very lovely and gracious. Haha, she said at the time to "excuse the way she may look tired in the photo" and then I said "Nonsense! You look great all the time". I officially died you know.

At the time it was when I went to the Lela Rose show on Sunday during September's Spring/ Summer 2011 NYFW. Gorgeous collection!

Also Ken Downing of Saks was there, Jessica "Lowdnes" (sorry about the last name!) from 90210, Christian Siriano I believe I saw him, so cute!, and a few others.

It was a greaet show all in all and I got a preview of the new Lela Rose x Payless Collection due next year.

UNIQLO FALL With Ariel Lin

I always love Uniqlo and their adorable fall/winter ads. This one was a simple one with my favorite Taiwanese actress from It Started with a kiss, They kiss again, and Love or Bread taiwan dramas.

She is the lovely Ariel Lin. This year 2010's Uniqlo Asian Representative. Congrats to Ariel Lin, I know it may be old news but it is still new to me.

RETRO: Jean Paul Gaultier x Doc Martens Fall 2009

Remember seeing this recently in Lucky magazine back in March or April?

I just remembered about when I first heard about it from Fall 2009.

Now they are no where to be found but I still love it though.

I believe they retailed in the high hundreds. I still love them though. So edgy but a new look to Doc Marten classic boots.

My favorite version will always be the cutout knee/thigh high boots and the floral Doc Martens collection.

Stylo Yeux Chanel Eyeliner

I just bought myself a new eyeliner from the Chanel Soho store yesterday. I love the look of the store. I managed to see and closely look at the Chanel Fall 2010 "Wooly Fur" collection and in person, it is not menancing as people say.

Its quite adorable and fashionable. Especially the brownish red leather jacket with a little trim fur for about 13,000$ USD.

I loved everything I saw in the store but I knew I had not bought any Chanel item yet, so I look over at the makeup section, I saw the Blue/Black Satin nail polish which is popular but decided to go the eye route.

BTW, i hardly wear makeup, the only thing I like is eye shadow and eye liner. :) I believe the eye is the sexiest body part. (or if so)

I picked up the Chanel Long Lasting Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eye liner in 30 - Marine color.

I love it. I believe its a good value and I will wear it everyday.

Well in other news, I saw my dream chanel bag there, the classic look, so I am definitely saving up for it.

Plus the little shopping bag with the white Camelia flower is adorable.

The Dream Bag: Alexander Wang Sydney Velvet Backpack

Im in love with Alexander Wang fall 2010 ever since I saw the collection on live last February. The backpack with the velvet and the flowy fabric coming out of the back really got to me. And now I realized recently that it is for sale over at net-a-porter for about $750.

I can not believe it when I saw it on the website. I was tempted to click the add to shopping bag, but with what money! Haha, this one I am definitely saving up for. I want it badly.

Pic of Alex Wang with his EPIC bag!

Best Album Art Cover

I believe the best one of this year I have seen goes to Korean J-POP and K-POP singer BoA.

I like the way that they made her hair combine with all of the flowers, webs, and wicker.

Then to make it seem like she was just holding it.

Then the makeup being asymmetrical. Love it!
