Chanel Fall 2012 Show #PFW

This was one of favorite Chanel Runway shows. This was even more creative than the Chanel Fall 2010 Furry and Flurry Fest.

It showcased this momma and her little boy with his own little Chanel Bag, how cute is that. Plus check out the clothes, these you can more so wear! I love her coat especially, must be warm cozy, fashionable, and you can wear these with anything!

Some looks from the show. It has Dark fun mysterious undertones with an Alien Outerspace feel to it.
This reminds me of the cyper punk era, which apparently my mind still lives in. The long coat with the play on textures and many color swatches is genious for a homage to the past with futuristic space influences.

I believe all of the clothing and bags featured in the show are going to be a success. I want two of the coats and one bag I saw in the show omg!

Black Friday Deals & Madness.

So Black Friday is here and Thanksgiving day is over, it was nice. Now is when the deals and christmas shopping begins. So people go store hunting across the expanse of the city and burn off those calories from yesterday (lord knows we need it after that sweet potato and pumpkin pie slice).

So those are my bags from the stores today. I never go all out because I dont see the "Doorbuster deals" or " I must have this or else ill die". It just went to take a walk and see what is out there. Long lines, crying babies, diva boots, and bed hair is the norm today. Also the idea of family and hearing Christmas songs in every damn store. Guess that did not take them long!

Exhibit A. She was blocking the sign with her hair. Gurl run a comb. ;)

But this was at Kohls. While I was online with a buddy.

The scene at Forever 21.

I found at lovely Parisian chic hat circa 1948 but did not buy. I might want another time. more floppier!

DUMP CHIC.

This is my jacket I love there and want. The material is what you pay for, sure. But I love the leather trimming, the militia style buttons, the crisp lines, and the owl inlay inside. $44, I might go back for this darling coat.

And this is from my bags earlier.

Nautica Lounge Pants for $11 from $34.

Only thing I bought at Forever 21, A 90s inspired hoodie. $22. I had $18 store credit from last month. I dont really go to Forever 21 much anymore. I cant do it. The friend wanted to so I said why not.

From H&M, These $10 knits jumpers/sweaters.

And from Macys, The Chanel Professional Eyeshadow Base in Bright. I have been meaning to get it. $34.

I decided to have the eye makeup done by the artist there, very lovely girl.
I dont wear concealer, foundation or all those other crap. I LOVE TO DRESS THE EYES. So Eyeshadows and MASCARAS! *LOVE LOVE LOVE*

The makeup is gorgeous for going out or holiday time glow.

Fur and lunch with the Dutchess...

I wished I knew the Dutchess of Cambridge or the Casiraghis , I have this ongoing fantasy that we would have lunch at smaller Cafes away from the papos on Center Street and then go to the nearby stores and shop. Then afterwards, head to a lounge to read a vintage bound book.

Interesting eh?

Well anyways, here is how a real one went... by myself and a friend.
At Connecticut Muffin with a Poppy seed, mozzarella and tomato sandwich. with my Vanilla Chai Latte Tea ICED.

Later I go to my friend's house! Betsey on the table, away from my face means its rest time.

The dinner I bought to make. Still in the fridge, I will make it today. Its Pasta with Pesto.

Haha, cute Elmo Spoon. I just had to take the picture.

Chanel Fall 2010, circa fabuleux. Marshalls had this jacket. I wanted to buy.

Here is a shot from my new Glamour magazine. Love the prints, PROENZA SCHOULER IS ON MY MIND HERE.

Happy Bidding~

Obsessed with Carven & Blast from Chanel's Past

I am in official love with this spring/ summer cotton and silk material crme jacket by Carven. I love the double breasted style buttons, remind me of pea coats, and the random zipper not in the center but off to the side.

If I were doing a monotone or neutral spring. Khaki colored shorts I have from H&M would do wonders with this. A nice statement necklace from Zara I saw the other day would go great with it. It was a greenish hue. And then I would wear my Michael Kors sandals that I have now had forever.

Also what im in love with is this ad of Claudia Schiffer for Chanel 1992. Shot by Karl Lagerfeld. The old chanel I am still in love with. Such a breathtaking photo and the lighting is perfect.

The perfect Leather outfit. The one that came close to this was Anne Hathaway's character in Devil Wears Prada (my favorite movie, that im watching now for FASHION WEEK here in NYC!) that all Chanel outfit that she makes that drastic change into thus stunning Gisele and Emily Blunt's character into stunned bitches mode.
Omg, I want that huge lambskin leather bag. Perfect weekend travel bag, must cost tons.

Its also Fashion Week here in NYC, time for the Fashion Types to swarm all studios, stores, street photography, starbucks full orders, distressed PR workers, Lincoln Center art types all leave in disarray, that 1 train to be full, taxis and towncars all in tow and hard to get. Man I love fashion week. The friendly security at the doors. The Daily magazines available each day in the lobby at damrosch park and starbucks frappucinos.

Lets get it all! Today is the Hearts Truth Red Dress. I cant wait to hear who modeled this year and what beautiful "Lady in Red" Dresses will grace us.

Fall 2011 lets get it!

They sure can tie spiffy bows.

They sure can tie spiffy bows.

Cue "Walking On A Dream" by Empire of the Sun. Recently, I went and picked up a gorgeous Chanel XL bag. Gorgeous leather and the right size to hold all my shtuff.

The last time I went, I promised Id be back and so has it been. The last time I got the Khaki Vert eyeshadow, the purple midnight eyeliner, and the black eyeliner for my mum.

Im checking to see if I really did buy one or im dreaming? My foot checks.

Chanel Pre Fall 2011 Blows My *********** Mind!

AMORE! AMORE! AMORE!

Yeah so I have been looking over and over at the Chanel Pre Fall 2011 collection, oh Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, you are a saint, a visionary, a revolutionary, and keane eye for style. Now, im obliged to drink diet cokes over and over again.

This Chanel collection is by far one of my ulta-faves. The byzantium inspiration is what gets me and hooks me in. I first though of Turkey and the middle east in mixture with the pacific rim. Some outfits I thought were Princess Jasmine esque.

The hair is fantastic too. Big Hair with some fluff and headband like a crowning. Gorgeous.

Royalty must wear these pieces and have them forever. The details that go into each piece must be tremendous. I love the way it has that "Yes, Look at me, I have everything yet I want nothing more than to paint on a vintage wooden easel or walk through a contrasting silk market"

I love the model selections. I love that FREJA, SASHA, and NATASHA are there again! FREJA closes! :)

I thought that Chanel Fall 2010 blew my mind. This made is even better. The way that it was shown in Paris this time around showed it to be a very good choice seeing as previous viewings are technically all over the world. Time to bring home the swiss cheese and gold.

Stylo Yeux Chanel Eyeliner

I just bought myself a new eyeliner from the Chanel Soho store yesterday. I love the look of the store. I managed to see and closely look at the Chanel Fall 2010 "Wooly Fur" collection and in person, it is not menancing as people say.

Its quite adorable and fashionable. Especially the brownish red leather jacket with a little trim fur for about 13,000$ USD.

I loved everything I saw in the store but I knew I had not bought any Chanel item yet, so I look over at the makeup section, I saw the Blue/Black Satin nail polish which is popular but decided to go the eye route.

BTW, i hardly wear makeup, the only thing I like is eye shadow and eye liner. :) I believe the eye is the sexiest body part. (or if so)

I picked up the Chanel Long Lasting Stylo Yeux Waterproof Eye liner in 30 - Marine color.

I love it. I believe its a good value and I will wear it everyday.

Well in other news, I saw my dream chanel bag there, the classic look, so I am definitely saving up for it.

Plus the little shopping bag with the white Camelia flower is adorable.
