Because Times NFL media reporter Sam Farmer documented Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers may release veteran broad receiver Hines Keep.
"We had the conversation today along with Hines Ward as well as informed him that people plan to discharge him of his contract before the start of the actual 2012 NFL season, " Steelers Leader Art Rooney II informed Steelers.com. "Hines has been an integral part of our success since we drafted him in 1998, and we will forever be grateful for what he has helped us achieve."
With Keep, 36, now a totally free agent and their future undecided, the actual questions is: Is actually he a Corridor of Famer?
Keep has 1, 000 career attracts (eighth in history), 12, 083 getting yards (eighteenth) and eighty-five touchdown receptions (thirteenth). He was called to four Professional Bowls and was an excellent Bowl MVP.
He's also a "Dancing using the Stars" champion! OKAY, that probably will not have much showing on Ward becoming elected or not really.
