So I have religiously started the Fitbook Fitlosophy back in August and now its November. So now its been 4 months.
The journey for fitness has been rocky, I have my high-intensity moments like Insanity and Turbo Fire then into Billy Blanks workouts and Bob Harper then into moderate things like everyday walking.
I have been eating really well. I still eat McDonalds but in moderation and when I go I dont really burgers, so I dont have much to worry on whenever I go out to eat. Just try to get in my proteins, fiber, whole grains, and overall goodness in foods.
So, my progress has been good.
My final measurements!
Chest went from 37.5 to 37 inches. Not bad.
Right Upper Arm from 12.75 to 12.5 inches.
Waist from 35.5 to 35 inches.
Right Thigh from 25.5 to 25
Weight from 183 to 178 (5 pounds gone!)
Body Fat Dropped 3%.
I am really excited. About to go to target, since they now carry it and buy one to continue my journey.
My endurance is better since recently I have taken to running. Such an exhilarating feeling.
The creator behind Fitbook, Angela, I love you!

The ING NYC Marathon is upon us!
So all over the world and especially NYC here is in uproar and excitement and all loads of anticipation for the Marathon to come tomorrow. 26.2 miles or BUST!
I commend the NYRR association so much for their endless work and love for the fitness and soulful art of running and run/walking. They amaze me every year by their PR getting everything out into the blogosphere, television, and many advertisements that are so inspiring. They now have an Apple Itunes application that those running can almost track whether their friends are! AMAZING!
So I love that the marathon is here. The Fitness Expo held annually at Javitz Center is so explosive with people and potential racers picking up their gears and getting ready for carb heavy dinners for tomorrow!
With the expansion over the 5 boroughs all that training is now coming upon us.
I wish I could run it. Maybe next year or the year after that.
I wish everyone tomorrow luck and I will be watching. Maybe Ill get to Mile 12 or mile 13 and watch~

Orgain Ready to Drink Meal Replacements
Welcome to the love of my life recently. I found this series about 7 months ago and have loved it ever since. Orgain's products that contain all the nutrients, minerals, and servings of fruit & vegetables you could ever want.Comes in Creamy Chocolate Fudge, Rich Chocolate, Sweet Vanilla Bean, and Iced Cafe Mocha. Never tried the creamy choco fudge and iced cafe mocha yet because the store in Park Slope here, does not have it. :(
But the whole thing about it I believe, for Beachbody customers, its more doable in price than Shakeology, which I will admitted that it is disgusting. That GREEN SHAKE YUCKERONI! And the chocolate you would think is better, NOT EVEN.
I am a particular about shakes and bars. But this one is definitely good on my list.
It is so delicious filled with whey protein too. It has a balance of protein, omega-3s, and twenty-three vitamins and minerals.
Only 255 calories per box. Winner. Great as meal replacement or that needed filling snack between meals!

Gardein Food + Amy's Food Organic, meat-free, or overall healthy

That is a photo from my lastest venture in healthy wholesome foods. Gardein I heard about from Vital Juice and from my friend, not simultaneously in that order, I decided to give it a try. I cringed at first when I heard meat-free, I asked myself, how would it taste and what exactly did they use. Soy Protein is the ingredient used instead. Now, I love it. I have it almost everyday for lunch, when I remember its my freezer. I have the chipotle one and I have the seven grain. They also do many other varieties of other (meat-kinds?).

Another brand of foods im starting to love is within the organics family by a girl named AMY. A variety of soups, dinner foods, lasagna, pizzas, rice bowls, and others. What I truly love is some is family size and some is individualized. So one does not have calculate and make up a mistake by eyeing.

P.S. - Next I want to have is Organic Avenue drinks and try the BluePrint & Cooler Cleanse programs. Its almost 2011, new start.

Crystal Renn vs. The World
Yeah I know this story may be old but I feel the need to reiterate that Crystal Renn going on that Today show to discuss her thoughts and believes in herself was wonderful. She states that she is a former anorexic in recovery for the past when she was entering plus-modeling and is disappointed that her photo was photoshopped to make her look skinnier.
It is not the message she wants to send to her fans and teenage girls in pressure of weight problems, and I agree with her completely. We must show a positive side to all of ourselves and love ourselves for how we are. Flaws or no flaws. It is what makes us all unique and gives us our makeup.
Another thing I loved that she said was to Forget the wall of runway, skinny, and plus-size and just "call us all models".
You go Crystal, Im definitely behind you 10000%.
Have a great healthy and confident day,
Kaye Beeh
P.S.- Crystal Renn losing some weight, it happens. Its a natural part of life. We gain and lose weight.

Thank you Emergen-C - Blue.
Today I received two free samples of Emergen-C you can them sent you by going to their website and requesting it. Plus I got a $1-off coupon (its a recessionista time, every bit counts).
It tastes yummy and its serves its purpose while boosting your immune system. Forget the red bull which is filled with unhealthy energy boosters and too much guarine and taurines...and go more natural. Drop a packet in your water, stimulate your insides.

Metabolism Boosting Green Tea Special
We all know that Green Tea has antioxidants and such healthy benefit.. but what if I want to get more out of it!.
Well there is a recipe I found from a book a get a weekly subscription of and Im going to share a Metabolism boosting Green Tea Recipe that can rev it up by 10%.
For an individual, you boil some water and then put 1 bag of green tea (or chinese green tea, either one) into the cup. Let it steep for 1-2 minutes. Then add 2 tablespoons of Sugar and Orange Juice.
Then add a tablespoon of lemon juice and lime juice. (If you cant get lime then just use lemon alone).
Then mix and voila! The citrus helps to rev it as well giving a nice hot summer drink and healthy mix up.

Conference on Health~ Fashion Referendum
Last night was the CFDA panel discussion on health in the modeling industry, entitled "The Beauty of Health: Resizing The Sample Size". Apparently more designers, casting agents, models, and editors are calling for a change on the take of the runway.
They seem to be tired of pre-pubescent looking girls, who may still play with barbies or are experiencing a bout of acne, to a minimal age of 17 to 19 years old required to walk the catwalk.
I for one, agree. This girls from a young age are molded into robots and how designers and the people in the industry want them to look. They may say you look great but need to lose a few pounds. Then what happens after those few pounds, you'll look like a stick that break at any minute. The pressure given to young girls, who the runways go as young as 13 or 14 i believe, is tremendous. They binge, get drunk, or take drugs because they are not receiving the proper guidance to survive in this cutthroat industry.
The effort to reform the industry has to include all involved in the industry.
In order for fashion to continue and to have models, who are highly deemed a beacon of hope for designers to wear the clothes and strut their stuff down that catwalk with magic, reform and good health is needed.
Water not wine.
Salad not diet coke & lettuce
Real not fake and plastic.
This was a very good forum and very informative. I hope the message is loud and clear.
