Core Fusion Yoga... I've tried it. (Compliments to YogaVibes & Exhale)

Do you guys remember yesterday when I told you that I bought 2 classes to view for 2 weeks from YogaVibes? They were Core Fusion Sport and Core Fusion Yoga. I tried Core Fusion Sport yesterday, so if you missed it...check the post before this one.

But anyways, today I decided to Core Fusion Yoga. I thought it was going to be simple yoga but no it is definitely not. A heavily Qi Gong powered moves with a vinyasa flow yoga and core fusion elements in this hour packed class. Definitely yes.

Ill admit im rusty in Yoga, I used to practice everyday with my Namaste Yoga on FitTv (no longer have Verizon....crap :( ) I lost them....so the practice left me.

Started with stretches, then moved onto alot of detoxifying twists, sun salutations, downward dogs, chatranga pushups, high planks, upward facing dog (which I love), leg bends, c-curve curls at end, qi gong wide stances with energy ball movement!, and half moon (dancer pose) with the cat rolling & warrior series.

Ill admit, warrior 3 I suck. Half moon I can get into. When we push into needle...my legs dont cooperate to go high. I understand you work to your limits and comfort.

All in all, a wonderful cool down and I thought of nothing but the sequence as we did it. Stressless, mindful, & soulful.

Wonderful class, id love to take in person just like CF Sport. CF Cardio..I would definitely love to see a video. I would not want to go and feel lost or spaced out.

Onwards, to try hot yoga...or bikram yoga. God help. I am crazy but courageous is my middle name. Try it guys!

Cheers,

Core Fusion Sport...Ive tried it (Thank you to Exhale & YogaVibes)

So I was curious for a while about Core Fusion Sport along with Core Fusion Cardio, Music Flow Yoga, other yoga classes, and Core Fusion Yoga.

I got an email yesterday from Exhale reminding me about YogaVibes videos of Core Fusion workouts. Ive been watching those previews for a while. I decided to punch in promo codes and finally buy Core Fusion Sport and Core Fusion Yoga (later post) for only 8 dollars.

So I can do them for up to 2 weeks unlimited.
But I want to do them now and practice them before going into the class and feeling lost like a dinosaur! Rawr!

So anyway. I came home from the gym... mistake mistake haha, and went straight to the video. Sweating within 10-12 minutes. That did not stop me though.

The beginning was nice with stretching and then came many squats, pushups, and jumpbacks. Jumpbacks were not bad for me at all.

My entire body was definitely engaged and it was alot of Cardio and strength all together. I had to stop for a 1 minute to catch my breath because I felt a little woozy but then I continued.

Loving the challenge. Moved down to legs floor work then abominable abdominals.

All in all, it was a challenge but I felt great afterward..energized & tired at the same time. No passing out but a confident stride to the shower. haha!

Sensa Sensa Read all about it!

Okay, I so im on my 12th day-13th day for Sensa weight-loss system.

It contains no msg and I get no headaches contrary to cynical beliefs.

It really helps me to control my eating and I actually get full easily, so no more over eating.

I sprinkle when I can remember, but I still reap the benefits.

Ive lost about 2-3 pounds now, I can not say it is the Sensa alone. With Sensa I eat what I like, but in moderation & I add more whole grains and healthier choices.

Compliments to exercise at my gym, home dvds, and Exhale Core Fusion classes. (free gym passes too counts I suppose)

But I think its a cool program. Ill try it out for the 2 months im designated for and we will how far my journey will continue.

to be continued...

Core Fusion Class with Mr. Fred Devito

As I was walking through the corridor to get to the class, i kinda stopped because I saw Fred Devito in the doorway greeting everyone! :O

I was so excited and ready to do a class with him as my teacher. So yeah I mentioned my first class with him ever and how im the twitter-talker. XD Too funny and he is such a cool dude seriously.

Class was full, it was Core Fusion Open. So no sport or cardio, no deaths today :o)

Well for the class, we did a ton of stuff. Worked the arms to exhaustion. The Thighs and gluteals to quivering, and the abs to strengthening & a relaxing stretch at the end to feel great about what we accomplished.

So throughout the whole class I wore my Heart Rate Monitor and my calories burned was 701. Haha, thank you for a great workout Fred!

The best part was the flat back/ round back section. :) My feet came off the floor for parallels and turnouts. Lately, my feet have been off the floor, which Im truly excited about! YUSH!

But man, Fred's choice of music for the whole class was all of my absolute favorites the ever talented late Mr. Michael Jackson MJ and the relaxation was Bob Marley and reggae songs at the end.

Plus the occasional jokes made the whole experience fun.

Im definitely taking more classes with Fred as a teacher. Really pushes me to my limits in a good way.

(haha, in the end I asked him if I would die in Core Fusion Sport. :P But im glad I got the answer I did: no deaths, but try it.)
